Pat Meehan

From 2016 at the age of 14, Pat Meehan has competed in multi-disciplinary motorsport, racing in local hillclimbs, khanacross and autocross events quickly picking up numerous outright wins, podiums and awards before being old enough to get a drivers license. After buying a life changing “Ride with a Pro” ticket at the fantastic Keep it Reet Friday Night Drifts, it was decided to turn an ex-teacher owned, automatic Ford AU Falcon, into a tyre killing, limiter bashing drift car. When lockdowns ended in 2020 Pat entered his first drift school at Winton Raceway and entered every non-competitive event that Keep it Reet held in 2021-22, as well as his first Drift Cadet Championship round.

In 2023, Pat contested the Keep it Reet Battle Royale Championship and transformed the humble AU Falcon into an angry, fire shooting weapon built for war, installing a home built turbocharged 500HP, Barra engine. Pat contested all championship battle rounds, with a top 16 and a top 8 achieved. In 2024, the DriftSA L2 championship, along with the Keep It Reet Drift Championship will be the next challenge in Pat’s drifting career. Pat will regularly compete in Kahanacrtoss and Autocross events in the Impreza consistently ranking in the top three in class and outright results.

Tammie Meehan

After living with a family of car fanatics, with two sons who were regularly racing, it was only a matter of time before she left the sidelines and jumped in a race car herself. Life became a lot more exciting after the 2005 Subaru Impreza RS was purchased in 2021 and turned into the autocross/khanacross weapon raced by Tam, Pat and Lachie Meehan on grass, dirt and bitumen tracks across Victoria. Since getting behind the wheel, Tam has competed in numerous autocross/khanacross events with 2023 bringing her best results yet, with 23 days of racing.

She achieved the 2023 Victorian Khanacross Championship State Title for Class L and a 2nd state place for Class MP4 in her non turbo Imprezea 2.5 RS, no mean feat considering MP4 is for Modified Production 4WD cars including turbocharged purpose built race cars. She also achieved an Outright 2nd place in the Ballarat Light Car Club 2023 Khanacross Series and numerous podium placings. 2024 brings new challenges, with Tam setting her sights on competing in range of autocross/khanacross events in the Victorian Khanacross Championship, the Victorian Club Autocross Series (VCAS), the Ballarat Light Car Club Autocross/Khanacross Series, Westmere Motorsport Club rounds and any other event that interests her. Looks like 2024 is going to be action packed.
