Lachlan is an avid competitor in Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia. Now in his third year with the category which serves as a feeder series to Porsche Carrera Cup, he runs in the highly competitive Pro-Am class, having progressed after two years running with older Cup Car machinery in Class B. Porsche racing runs deep in his family, with Dad Peter being a prominent figure of Australian Porsche Cup in the 1990s.
A late starter to the sport at age 28, Lachlan spent a few seasons honing his craft in state-level Production Sports racing before making his debut at a national level with Sprint Challenge in 2022. He is now a front-runner in the Pro-Am class and competes under the multi-championship winning Earl Bamber Motorsport.
